Executive Director, Melissa Wilkerson, accepts the NRMCA State Affiliate Concrete Promoter of the Year Award

The National Ready Mixed Concrete Association presented its Promoter of the Year – State Affiliate Award to Executive Director, Melissa Wilkerson, at their recent conference. This is an industry honor, recognizing an individual who exhibits dedication to the industry.

Melissa had this to say when accepting the award:
Witnessing the support and active participation of our members has been a pleasure. We’ve revived valued events like Concrete at the Capitol and the Mixer Driver Championship, ventured into new collaborations like the Type 1L Cement Summit, expanded our certification and education offerings, and partnered with industry experts like Tyler Ley.

The support my Board has provided has been excellent. I wasn’t sure how having 20 bosses would be, but they have been open-minded and supportive.
Thank you, gentleman, for all you have done and are doing for me, the association, and the industry.

I want to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has been a part of this incredible journey. Together, we’ve achieved remarkable milestones, and I look forward to continuing our collective efforts to promote and strengthen the concrete industry
